A workstand - or repair stand - can be extremely useful when youre working on your bike or carrying out repair work. It lifts the bike off the ground, holds it a comfortable working height and keeps it stable and secure, so you can focus on the task youre doing, rather than having to use one hand to hold the bikes still.Our workstand, which can hold up to 66 lbs, offers a great way for bikers to maintainance on their bikes. Its heavy duty clamp protects your bikes finish from scratches while allowing you to work worry-free. It is designed to rotate 360 degrees on two axes, and fits nearly every standard tube frame from 1" to 2.5". Included is a plastic tool tray with a magnetic strip to help keep those nuts and bolts where you can find them. Its lightweight and has an extra wide base for more excellent stability.
If your bikes top tube thinner than it, its recommended that you wrap the tubing with thin rubber pad, corrugated paperboard or dishcloth to create enough thickness - while it fits well with the stand, it naturally prevents your bike from slip and wobble.
